Prayer Answered!

These keys would be the keys to my very own new apartment! Im so excited. I got the keys yesterday and signed the lease. We are going to start moving in today. Its a two bedroom so Kaiden can finally have his own room. I wont be actually start staying there until the 4th of May. I wont have the money to buy anything I need until then. But yeah! Just thought I would share with you the awesome news! I will post pictures of the apartment when I can!

God is so awesome!

I have had so many prayers answered for me these last few months. Mainly all about the apartment situation. Since my last post about the phone call, I went to fill out the papers, and then they said they would get it all through the system and would be giving me a call. A few weeks later they called me back, and told me that I had a light bill to pay before they could do anything further. Right then and there I though I was done cause I wouldnt have no way to come up the money and I didnt even know how much it was. I called Cilco a few days later and found out that it was 180.64, which isnt too bad. But still I didnt have the money, and no way to come up with the money. Im living off of 147.00 a month. Its tough but I make it. But after talking to some friends and lots of prayer, I got the money for the bill! I piad the bill yesterday, Now all I have to do is take in a copy of the receipt to the Sunset Office. Im doing that tomorrow. Then taking a copy of the receipt to Sunset Hills. I am closer then ever to getting this apartment. It took me about a week to get the money, but I got it. Prayer is such an amazing thing.

Then I am going to be needing a job to keep up with my cilco once I get moved in. Well on Wednesday I went to Career Link, and filled out an application for this summer job program they do. It pays 8.50 to 9.50 an hour, and they pay for babysitting. They said in the next few weeks someone would be calling me. Well the very next day, I got a phone call from them, wanting me to come in to fill out some more stuff and get copies of my birth certificate, SS card and my ID. I went in Friday to do that. They said I definetly qualifiy cause of having food stamps and medical card. They told me someone would be calling me when they need someone for a job. They said it would start in about June. They said lots of people have called needing help for the summer, like the YWCA, Salvation Army, different office type setting places, and such. I know its just for the summer, but it is a start, and you have to start somewhere right? This place can also help me get permanet job after the summer is over with also. Im so glad I found this place. Im learning more and more about its sevice's that it provides.
