I have been trying to lose some weight since February. I never did lose the extra baby weight after Kaiden, and after checking my BMI, with my height of 5'1, I was considered to be overweight. I had a new years resolution to lose some weight and get back into shape. I have been keeping track of my weight, my starting weight on Feb. 18, 2009 was 142. As of this morning May 9, 2009 I was 133! I have lost 9 pounds! I am so pround of myself. There have been so many times I have tried to lose weight, but never stuck to the plan. The only thing I have been doing so far is eating better. I eat smaller amounts of food, I dont snack throughout the day,I eat less junk, and I have pretty much cut Mountain Dew out of my life! I think I have about 2 cans a month. Can you believe I actually cut Mountain Dew out!? I havent started exercising yet, I will get to that. But just by eating better I have lost 9 pounds. I guess for my height an appropriate weight for me would be 96lbs - 127lbs. Im getting it there. I think for now Im looking to get to about 125 ish. If I reach 130, I will be at the pre-pregnancy weight.
Did I mention Im so proud of myself! haha.
Also, living back in Pekin now, I can start going back to church on a regular basis! I have missed going, I was bummed I wasnt able to go regularly. I cant wait to go back.
